Upgrades..

We have nearly doubled the size of our display case. We now offer an array of veggie options. The place is coming along quite swimmingly.

Afterward, a dejected chris signed over his portion of the deli to this unnamed arm wrestler who had a strange looking rash. 

Bagel and Donuts and Other goodies...

The long awaited moment has arrived. After months of promises and guarantees, we have finally nailed down a distributor for donuts and bagels. Syrena Bakery of Greenpoint notoriety has begun deliveries to much applause. Now you can finally get 'The Marty' (acme lox, cream cheese, red onion caper on a bagel) or pop in around 6:43 AM and grab a donut and Iced Coffee for 3 bucks. Coffee courtesy of Porto Rico Importers, by the by. Love you guys!

Golden Joe and the White Lights

Our lovely friends from Harrisburg so generously donated an 18,000 BTU air conditioner last week which promptly sat unused for 3 days. That is, until old Golden Joe banged out this masterpiece in under an hour.

Is it safe. Our insurance adjuster seemed to think so....

MAMADUKES with another success.

She and Barb left H'burg at 5AM in tow with chicken salad, fresh fruit, jams, homemade honey,  an air conditoner, peanut butter fudge and ambrosia. She ran in the middle of Flushing Avenue to save a kitten that was discarded from a moving car. What would we do without her.

Get ready for deliveries....

MAMADUKES IN TOWN SUNDAY!!!!

Come on down for some more home cooking by Mama Demarco. On the menu tomorrow will be a frittata of sorts, the famous chicken salad (chicken is being grilled as we speak), a variety of homemade jams for sampling and you know there is always a couple tricks up the old sleeve. The festivites start at 11am, but if you come around 9 AM you can watch the magic happen. See you tomorrow folks!!
